Winter's Power Devlog #3- Option based dialogue and new location

How's everyone's day? Today's devlog highlights the new features+story I have added to Winter's Power over the last few days. In the video above, you will see a forest monastery, which will act as one of the first checkpoints for the game. Inside, you will meet 2 new characters, who give advice to the player + provide some story.  That being said, at this point, I am still new to coding. With my basic C# knowledge, and by using some code I found online, I was able to whip up a very basic option-based dialogue system. I initially intended for the choice-based dialogue to be more engaging, but due to the required code being too complex, I decided to go for a simpler system. And anyways at this point, I have realized that dialogue is not the most important element of the game. By no means is the dialogue system complete or perfect, and I will continue to refine it to make a better experience for you all. Next, I plan to work on some of the 3D horror elements of the game and explain how they will be done, so stay tuned. Until next time... Enjoy!
